Powering the Future of ENT Care

Since 2016, Reg-ent has been transforming otolaryngology through data-driven quality improvement, advancing patient outcomes, and empowering providers nationwide.

Our Mission

Reg-ent transforms your practice data into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes. The registry focuses on quality improvement while streamlining your administrative burden—from MIPS reporting to quality measure development to Maintenance of Certification requirements.

Reg-ent serves practices of all sizes and settings. Whether you're a solo practitioner, part of a group practice, or employed by an academic medical center or health system, the registry delivers meaningful benefits tailored to your needs.

Why Reg-ent Matters

Reg-ent is more than a registry. By participating, ENT practices contribute to a national movement to improve patient outcomes, protect reimbursement, and advance the science of otolaryngology.

Safeguards Quality Care

Protect the role of otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeons in defining optimal care standards for the specialty.

Demonstrates Value

Showcase the value of ENT services in all iterations of future payment models and participate in private payer quality programs.

Leverages Data

Access the first national otolaryngology-specific data repository that can be leveraged for research and quality improvement.

Defines Specialty Measures

Help develop specialty-specific quality measures tailored to otolaryngology practice needs.

Shape Guidelines

Contribute data for the development of AAO-HNSF Clinical Practice Guidelines that shape the future of ENT care.

AAO-HNS Membership

Participation is open to active AAO-HNS members in good standing. All otolaryngologists and allergists must be current members.

EHR System

Requires the use of an Electronic Health Record system. Successful registry participation is dependent on the EHR used – vendor and hosting (on a local server or in the cloud).

Domestic Practice

Currently open to domestic AAO-HNS members, with plans for international expansion in the future.

How Reg-ent Works

Reg-ent securely extracts data from your EHR and converts it into actionable insights, automatically managing everything from quality measure tracking to MIPS submission.

Executive Committee

The Reg-ent Executive Committee’s work has contributed to the core success of the AAO-HNS in its leadership role in the launch, development, and continued growth of the registry. Under the guidance of the Chair, the registry has grown to include over 2,100 clinicians and is expected to grow more dramatically as we enter phase II with the addition of private payers, academic sites, and research opportunities.
