Technical Specs and Policies
Ad Tagging Policy — Website
- Permitted: JavaScript DoubleClick (DCM) ad tags and all tags supported by Google Ad Manager
- Tracking pixels that expose or attempt to extract member PII are not permitted
- All third-party vendor-supplied tags subject to approval; must include GIF/JPG image(s) and destination URL
- Ad tagging is not available for email deployments
- Ad tag change fee: $150 per change request for existing creative
Email Creative Requirements
- Only static JPEG/PNG or animated GIF files with a destination URL accepted
- Animated GIFs must include all critical information on the first frame
- Only one URL per animated GIF; separate URLs per frame not permitted
- No ad tagging — static files only
Native Ad Content Requirements
- Content must be educational in nature and provide genuine value to AAO-HNS members
